Brief description of the series

Comics called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic - My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the West have been released since 2012. Publisher - IDW Publishing, publishes comics under license from Hasbro.
Each of the comics consists of 32 pages. The plots in the first comics are connected with the events that took place after the second season of the animated series, and starting from the 13th issue after the coronation of the pony Sparkle (Twilight).
And the good news is that the Russian publishing house "Factory of comics" from the summer of 2016 will begin publishing these comics in Russian.
Each issue of the comic will run up to 100 pages, which means that each issue will most likely consist of one story arc.

Pinkie Pie has always been a very dreamy pony. Her mother loved to read fairy tales to her, different stories about fantastic, wonderful countries, other worlds ... The baby really wanted to someday become the heroine of some fairy tale, to get into Magic world and get acquainted with various magical creatures, but the foal's dream was not destined to come true. The young pony got a mark, went to Ponyville, found friends. Days, weeks, months, years passed ... The pony party helped Princess Luna become herself and rid her of Nightmare Moon's obsession, together with her friends she returned to the palace, they defeated Discord, turning him into a statue again, and the dream remained just a dream.

A soft and quiet night fell on the Stone Farm, the darkness was slightly illuminated by the moon, which depicted a pony banished to it and the stars, which should free Nightmare Moon in quite a bit, by the standards of alicorns. It was July. Today was a particularly hot day, but the hard-working Pai family worked tirelessly. Everyone - both foals and adults - were very tired that day. Marble and Limston were already in bed, as was their father, but Claudy Quartz was never so tired that she would not agree to read a bedtime story for her beloved youngest daughter.
It was quite cold in the little room, owned by the youngest pony in the family, but Igneus Rock had recently sold a whole cartload of rocks and made enough money to provide the family with new warm blankets.
The old wooden door creaked open, and a pale gray filly entered the room, holding a book in its hooves. This children's book of fairy tales was very old - Pinkamina's great-grandmother once gave this book to her grandmother, who gave it to her mother.
- Diana, what fairy tale should I read to you today? - Quartz asked her daughter in a gentle voice.
- Let's "Land of Sweets"!
- Are you sure? - asked the filly. - I'm reading it to you for the hundredth time.
- Come on, please! she asked.

The little girl especially liked the fairy tale "Land of Sweets", about how a little foal gets into the country of cakes, cupcakes and sweets, and then defeats the evil Lord Spoiled Chocolate by eating him and saves the country. The funniest thing was that Lord was a spoiled chocolate bar, but the foal still found it tasty. She dreamed of going to this country, but she never met a cupcake with golden sprinkles that would take her there as a hero of a fairy tale ... And now, she has already matured, and her dreams of a fairy-tale country did not leave her.
She so wanted to tell someone about it, but who would understand her? Everyone loved her and was friends with her, but to understand such a strange dream... They will probably think that she is "A pony that clings to stupid childhood dreams and does not part with childhood." Of course, she herself thought it was stupid, but still ...
So I don’t want to part with the dream that has lived in my heart for many years. And let her be considered a small foal.

Soft and quiet night. The sight of her room in the Sugar Palace reminded Pai of the night when her mother told her this tale. She frowned. It's time to forget this stupid story! With this thought, the curly filly fell on the bed and closed her blue eyes, immediately falling asleep.

Where am I? said the pink pony, floating in empty space. A table appeared in front of her with a cupcake... With gold sprinkles? A hopeful thought popped into my head. The dream made her come to this table, and then pounce on it, like a Tree Wole on its victim. Her world spun and spun, the pony closed her eyes.
Opening her blue eyes, she saw no table, no empty space. Above her was a pink sky, across which floated clouds of cotton candy. She was surrounded by huge cupcakes, cakes... She rubbed her eyes, but the scenery, which until then had only popped up in her imagination, remained where it was. Yes, she is in the Land of Sweets!
The Laughter Element jumped up and laughed in disbelief. Her dream, she's in her dream!
She ran down the waffle track and jumped onto the huge cupcake. Laughing again, the sweet tooth plunged her muzzle into the cream. Nearby was a lake of chocolate milk. She laughed again as she jumped towards the lake and looked at the reflection of her own cream-smeared muzzle. She frowned sharply as her eyes fell on the dark chocolate palace. Lord Spoiled Chocolate lives in it. She had no idea how his abode had moved from the mountain to the lake. She swam across the lake and entered the palace. There was no security, as in a fairy tale. She simply walked up to his throne and ate it. Wondering how spoiled chocolate could be delicious, she noticed how the palace suddenly disappeared. The whole world simply disappeared, and she, swallowing tears and not understanding anything, again found herself in an empty space. She sobbed.
"Don't cry, my little pony." Turning around, she saw Princess Luna and bowed.
- Princess... Did you create all this? Was it all just a dream?
"No, Pinkie Pie, no dream is ordinary, creating dreams is an art," she said.

One day, Princess Celestia decided to give the little adventurer a new challenge: since Twilight already understood what true friendship is and made friends with ponies as good as she is, it was time to apply this skill a little wider. Therefore, the wise princess told the little dreamer that the country of Equestria is not the only one in the world: ponies have many neighbors, and their life is not always as calm and peaceful. There are disputes and quarrels, and the inhabitants are used to thinking only about themselves. The reason for this is simple - they do not know how to be friends at all. Moreover, they don’t even know what friendship is. Therefore, Twilight Sparkle must go on a long journey to tell others that friendship is a miracle that can change the world for the better.

Barbie and sisters in a fairy tale about ponies: will they be able to make friends

The first on the way Twilight met the country of Barbie. Pony heard a lot about these magical beauties, so she was very glad to visit them. However, what was her disappointment when it turned out that Barbie was not only not friends at all, but also did not do anything useful all day long. In addition, they had to learn needlework, because the pony came up with contests for which it was necessary to sew dresses, prepare culinary masterpieces and come up with interesting decorations.
Here comes the day of the competition. What was Barbie's surprise when absolutely everyone became the winners, because someone danced better, and someone managed to cook the most tasty dish. The girls realized that there was no more need to argue, because each of them is special and the best. They were very pleased, as constant quarrels only darkened their lives and made the beauties lonely. And now that the differences are over, you can be friends and spend time together, which is much more fun.

Little Twilight was in seventh heaven with happiness: she coped with the first task successfully. And although the time has come to leave the country of Barbie, the fairy tale about the pony is not over yet: there are many more interesting adventures ahead of the good unicorn.
