Homemade lavash lasagna recipe. Lavash lasagna: delicious recipes for meat and vegetable lasagna. How to cook pita lasagna with mushrooms and chicken

In terms of its taste, lavash lasagna is practically no different from the original dish, which uses special sheets prepared independently or purchased in a store.

Today we will present you two options on how to make simple but tasty and juicy lasagna at home.

Lasagna with lavash: step-by-step recipe for preparing a delicious dish

You can make this dish using different products. However, one thing remains unchanged about it. This is minced meat. It can be made using beef, pork, chicken breasts or mixing all meat products together.

So, pita lasagna requires the purchase of the following components:

Preparing mixed minced meat

To make the lavash lasagna delicious, we decided to use mixed minced meat. To prepare it, carefully wash pieces of lean pork and veal, and then pass them through a meat grinder with chopped onions. Add salt and pepper to the resulting minced meat and mix thoroughly with your hands.

Making meat bolognese sauce

Any pita lasagna requires the use of delicious and aromatic Bolognese sauce. To prepare it, place freshly twisted minced meat in a saucepan, season it with vegetable fat and fry over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Fleshy tomatoes crushed into a pulp and heavy cream are added to the browned meat. In this form, the product is simmered under the lid for about 7 minutes, after which it is removed from the stove and cooled.

Making creamy béchamel sauce

Lasagna with pita bread, the recipe for which we are considering, can be prepared without bechamel sauce. But to get a more tasty and high-calorie dish, we decided to use it. To prepare it, melt the cooking fat in a clean frying pan, add light flour to it, mix and fry for about 5 minutes. Carefully pour in the fat milk into the resulting mass, and add Italian herbs, pepper and salt. All ingredients are mixed and cooked for several minutes.

Preparing the Components

In order for you to get a tasty and juicy homemade lavash lasagna, it should be properly shaped and heat treated. To do this, hard cheese is grated. Bolognese and bechamel sauces are also divided into three equal parts.

Formation process

Lavash lasagna with minced meat should be prepared in a large and deep baking dish. Its bottom is greased with creamy sauce, and then one pita bread is laid out. Place ½ of the minced meat on the product and sprinkle generously with cheese. The second pita bread is greased with creamy sauce and put back into the bowl. It is similarly topped with bolognese and cheese. These steps should be repeated until all the ingredients are gone.

At the end, the entire dish is doused with the rest of the bechamel sauce and covered with a thick “carpet” of cheese.

Heat treatment

The formed lasagna from pita bread with minced meat is immediately placed in the oven. Bake it at 210 degrees for half an hour. During this time, the dish sets, becomes juicy and rosy.

Serve it right at the table

After heat treatment of the lasagne, remove it from the oven and cool slightly right in the pan. Before serving, the product is cut into small pieces, split into plates and distributed to guests. In addition to this dish, sweet and hot tea is served.

Lazy lasagna: recipe with pita bread

Despite the fact that ready-made lavash sheets are used to prepare lazy lasagna, it takes a relatively long time to make. In this regard, we decided to present you with an even quicker recipe, which is good to use if you do not have time to prepare the original dish.

So what ingredients are needed to make a delicious and satisfying lazy lasagna? The recipe with pita bread involves the use of the following components:

  • ready-made minced chicken purchased in a store - 500 g;
  • onions - 2 heads;
  • natural tomato paste without dyes - 3 large spoons;
  • heavy cream - about 200 ml;
  • sea salt - use to taste;
  • ground black pepper - use to taste;
  • “Italian herbs” spice mixtures – add to taste;
  • high fat butter - 4 large spoons;
  • light wheat flour - 1 dessert spoon;
  • hard cheese - about 500 g;
  • thin Armenian lavash - 4 pcs.

Making quick meat sauce

As a rule, to prepare homemade lasagna, bechamel sauce and bolognese are prepared separately. But if you want to make such a dish in the shortest possible time, then we suggest combining them together. To do this, melt the butter in a saucepan, and then add ready-made minced chicken and chopped onions to it. Season the products with salt and pepper and fry them until golden brown. After 13-14 minutes, add wheat flour to the meat and cook for a few more seconds. After this, add heavy cream and tomato paste to the saucepan.

After mixing all the products, they are simmered under the lid for 9 minutes, after which they are flavored with Italian herbs, removed from the stove and cooled.

How to properly form lazy lasagna?

Lazy lavash lasagna, a photo of which is presented in this article, is formed in a matter of minutes. To do this, generously grease a deep baking dish with vegetable or butter, and then cover it with one sheet of lavash. In turn, 1/3 of the previously prepared meat sauce is placed on the Armenian product, which is sprinkled with grated cheese. Subsequently, the described procedure is repeated 3 more times.

Finally, the lasagna is covered with the remaining minced meat and cheese.

How is it baked?

After forming the lasagna, it is placed in a preheated oven and cooked at a temperature of 230 degrees for 20 minutes. This time is enough for the dish to set and the cheese to completely melt and spread.

Serve delicious lazy lasagna for lunch

After baking, the lazy lasagna must be removed and cooled slightly in the pan. In the future, it should be cut into pieces and placed on plates using a wide spatula. It is recommended to eat a dish of minced meat and pita bread with a fork and knife, washed down with some sweet drink. Bon appetit!

Lasagna is a very hearty and tasty dish that came to us from Italian cuisine. Many housewives would like to learn how to cook it, but real, classic lasagna will require a lot of time and skill. We suggest you use a little trick and replace the lasagna sheets with thin pita bread. And the choice of filling depends on your taste and imagination.

Thin Lavash Lasagna Recipes

The main components of the dish are lasagne sheets (in our case, thin Armenian lavash will play their role), sauce and filling, which will include minced meat, meat, mushrooms, cottage cheese and much more. Even vegetarians will find a recipe to their liking. And if it’s easiest to buy lavash in a store, then we’ll prepare the sauce and filling ourselves.

Classic lasagna

This kind of lasagna, despite the use of pita bread, is as simple as possible, and you don’t have to stand at the stove all day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of pita bread;
  • 1 kg minced meat;
  • 1–2 tomatoes;
  • 1 medium sized carrot;
  • 2 medium onions;
  • 2–3 cloves of garlic;
  • 100 g butter;
  • 300 g hard cheese;
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese;
  • 1 liter of milk;
  • 100 g flour.
  1. Remove the skins from the tomatoes. Grind them into puree using a blender.
  2. Chop the onion and garlic as finely as possible and fry in vegetable oil. Add grated carrots and continue frying until done.
  3. Add the minced meat to the frying, stir, add salt, add spices and seasonings to taste, cover with a lid and simmer for 25 minutes. After this, add the tomato pulp and fry for 5 minutes over low heat.
  4. For the sauce, melt the butter in a bowl and gradually add the flour. Stir and saute the mixture. Pour in a liter of milk, bring to a boil and maintain the temperature until the sauce reaches the consistency of sour cream. Season with salt and add a little grated garlic.
  5. Grate the cheese. Place pita bread, meat filling, sauce and cheese on a high-sided baking sheet, alternating several times. Sprinkle the top sheet of lavash with cheese, previously shredded on a grater.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the lasagna pan in it and bake for 45 minutes.

One of the main ingredients of classic lasagna is bechamel sauce.

To make the dish more attractive, after cooking, remove it from the oven, sprinkle with grated Parmesan and bake for another 10 minutes. Cool the lasagna before serving to prevent it from losing its shape.

“Lazy” version with minced meat

This recipe is great for those who don’t have enough time at home for culinary delights. We will do without Bolognese sauce, which is traditionally used in lasagna, leaving only minced meat, cheese and bechamel. Minced meat can be made from any lean meat, such as chicken.

For this quick lasagna you will need:

  • 1 package of pita bread;
  • 500 g minced meat;
  • 200 g cheese;
  • 1 onion bulb;
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil for frying.

This recipe makes 6 servings. Preparation will take you 40 minutes.

For the sauce, take the following ingredients:

  • 380 ml milk;
  • 150 g butter;
  • 3 heaped tablespoons of flour;
  • 2 teaspoons sugar;
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Note! If you make the minced meat yourself, pass the chicken breast through a fine grinder. Buying ready-made minced meat in a store will save you some more time.

The peculiarity of lazy lasagna is that its preparation does not take much time.

  1. Peel and finely chop the onion. Add it to a heated frying pan with oil and fry until golden brown, stirring all the time.
  2. Add the minced meat to the onion and fry until half cooked (until it is no longer pink). Season with salt and pepper and remove the pan from the heat. The filling is ready.
  3. Prepare the sauce. To do this, melt the butter in a deep frying pan or saucepan. Add flour to it, sauté until golden brown.
  4. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring with a whisk until smooth. Add sugar and salt. Cook the sauce over low heat until it thickens. Don't forget to stir it.
  5. Start assembling the lasagna. Take a suitable shape and cut the pita bread according to its size. Place one sheet on the bottom, spread some of the minced meat filling over it. The next layer is a little sauce, then grated cheese. Cover with a second sheet of pita bread and press lightly.
  6. Repeat alternating layers several times until you run out of filling. Sprinkle the last sheet of lavash with grated cheese.
  7. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees without top heat. If your device does not have such a function, then the lasagna pan should be covered with foil. It will take 25 minutes to bake. Lazy lasagna is ready!

Roll “A la lasagna” with mushrooms and chicken

This is a recipe for a slightly unusual lasagna in the form of a roll. Thin pita bread is more convenient for this shape than traditional lasagna sheets. For the lasagna roll you will need:

  1. Cut the products: onions into half rings, tomatoes, after removing the skin, into thin slices, chicken meat into small pieces. Add salt and spices to the meat.

    Finely chop the onions, tomatoes and meat

  2. In one pan, fry 2/3 of the entire onion until half cooked. Add herbs, tomatoes, salt, seasonings, and leave to simmer.

    Fry and steam vegetables

  3. Fry the chicken in a second frying pan until half cooked, adding the remaining onion.

    Fry meat with onions

  4. Drain the broth from the tomato filling into another bowl. You will need it at the end of cooking.
  5. Make bechamel sauce. In a bowl with high walls, melt the butter, sauté the flour in it, stirring constantly. Pour in milk, season with salt and spices, cook until thick.

    Prepare bechamel sauce for lasagna

  6. Now that everything is prepared, you can start assembling the lasagna. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and lay out the pita bread. Spread some sauce on the surface.

    The first layer of filling on lavash

  7. Evenly spread half of the filling, 1/2 of the fried chicken meat, cover with the second pita bread.
  8. Repeat the procedure with the filling, only now place the mushrooms on one edge. It is advisable to fry them before, but you can use marinated ones. Sprinkle cheese on top and add a little sauce.

    Second layer of mushroom filling

  9. Very carefully roll the lasagna into a log. Spread sauce on top. Place the baking sheet in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, bake for 10 minutes.

    Roll up the roll

  10. Remove the baking sheet with lasagne, pour the vegetable broth left over from the vegetable filling on top, and return to the oven for 10 minutes.

    Before finishing cooking, pour some vegetable broth over the lasagna.

One of the features of lasagna is that you can eat it cold - it even tastes better that way!

What to serve with lasagna

Lasagna is an Italian dish, and Italians rarely deny themselves a glass of red wine. Therefore, you should choose a good wine to serve it at the table. If you are feeding children, you can simply serve tea or milk with lasagna, but this is a matter of taste.

If you're planning a big, fancy dinner, you might want to prepare a couple extra dishes to go along with the lasagna. For example, make a salad of fresh vegetables and herbs, serve tomatoes with mozzarella and basil, or simply cut different types of cheese. You can also put olives and nuts on the table.

Lazy “lasagna” from lavash / Recipes and Reality / Vol. 106

In this episode I’m preparing lazy lasagna from pita bread - tasty, fast, satisfying and inexpensive.)) This “lasagna” is somewhat reminiscent of a casserole, because... Due to the juicy filling + sauce, the lavash sheets become completely soft. MORAL: I would remove the sauce between the layers altogether, then the dish as a whole will be drier inside and, perhaps, more like lasagna.

Lavash lasagna with vegetables

Delicious lavash lasagna is ready for you to try and treat to your loved ones! Bon appetit!

P.S. Don't forget to not miss new dishes.

Julia author of the recipe

In the previous article we looked at the cooking process. Today we will talk about how to make lasagna from pita bread. You can use meat and vegetable products as filling, so let's look at several ways to prepare it at home.

Unlike the traditional recipe, we will use Armenian lavash instead of thin sheets of dough. This will not make the taste of the dish worse; on the contrary, some people like this method better. In addition, you don’t have to look for special layers in the store or mess with the dough.

The article will review several common but simple culinary recipes. We will prepare the dish in the oven. If you wish, you can make changes to the composition of the casserole, taking into account your preferences.

First, let's look at one of the simplest ways to prepare an Italian dish. To do this, we will need affordable products and some free time. The taste of the casserole is not inferior to traditional lasagna.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g minced pork and beef;
  • 500 g champignons;
  • 2 thin pita breads;
  • 2 onions;
  • 5 tbsp tomato paste;
  • 1 glass of milk;
  • ½ tsp nutmeg;
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour;
  • Pepper, salt, herbs to taste;
  • 100 g cheese.

Preparation

Peel the onions, wash them under cold water and cut them into small pieces. Place in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil.

We clean the champignons, wash them thoroughly, chop them finely and add them to the frying pan with the onions. Pepper, salt, mix everything and cook until golden brown and the liquid has completely evaporated.

Heat the oil in another frying pan, add the minced meat and stir. After this, add tomato paste, aromatic herbs and a little pepper. Simmer with the lid closed.

We cut the Armenian lavash to the size of the form in which we will bake the Italian dish, as shown in the photo below.

Grease the mold with a piece of butter. Then we place a sheet of pita bread on the bottom, distribute the minced meat over it, and again lay out the pita bread and mushrooms and onions in the next layer. Thus, you can make several layers, taking into account your preferences and the height of the sides of the mold.

Place a frying pan or small saucepan on the stove, pour milk into the container, and pour in wheat flour. Mix thoroughly to avoid the appearance of lumps. Add a small amount of nutmeg. Constantly stirring the liquid, cook until a thick mass forms, but do not bring to a boil.

Lubricate the mushroom layer with the prepared sauce. If you want to add milk mixture to each layer of lasagna, be careful not to overdo it, as the casserole will simply spread out.

Now all that remains is to grate the hard cheese and sprinkle it over the quick lasagna.

Place the pan in the oven, which is preheated to 180°C. Cook for 40-50 minutes. Then cut into portions and serve. If desired, decorate the casserole with fresh herbs. Bon appetit!

Recipe with ham and cheese

This is a great casserole option. Cheese goes well with almost any food. It can be added to each layer of lasagna. If you want a less calorie dish, just sprinkle it on top. Let's consider one of the cooking methods.

Ingredients:

  • Thin pita bread;
  • 250 g hard cheese;
  • 300 g ham;
  • 400 g canned tomatoes;
  • 3 fresh tomatoes;
  • 3 cloves of garlic;
  • 1 onion;
  • 3 tbsp olive oil;
  • 30 g fresh herbs;
  • 50 g butter;
  • 1 liter of milk;
  • 3 tbsp flour;
  • Nutmeg, ground pepper and salt.

Ham can be replaced with smoked meat products. But you need to understand that such products can significantly increase the calorie content of the casserole.

Preparation

  1. First, peel the onions, rinse them under cold water and finely chop them. Cut the garlic cloves into small pieces.
  2. Cut a piece of ham into thin strips of medium length.
  3. Grind the cheese product on a coarse grater. You can use different types of hard cheese in this recipe.
  4. Cut fresh tomatoes into thin discs.

Use a sharp knife to cut tomatoes, otherwise all the juice will leak out and they will lose their shape.

  1. Place a frying pan on the stove and heat the olive oil in it. Place the chopped garlic and onion in a container and fry for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.
  2. At the next stage, add chopped canned tomatoes, chopped parsley, onions (any greens if desired).
  1. Sprinkle with spices and salt. Mix all products thoroughly and simmer for 10 minutes over low heat.
  2. Meanwhile, let's prepare the sauce for the Italian casserole. To do this, melt the butter in a saucepan, add wheat flour and lightly fry, stirring regularly with a kitchen whisk. After this, gradually add milk in a thin stream.

The sauce ingredients must be mixed thoroughly to get rid of lumps. But if you have small lumps, they will not be felt in the finished dish.

  1. Add nutmeg, ground pepper and table salt to the saucepan. As soon as the mixture begins to boil, remove it from the burner. By this time, the mass should acquire a thick consistency and a pleasant shade.
  2. Let's start assembling the Italian dish. To do this, cut the pita bread into pieces corresponding to the size of the baking dish.
  3. Grease the bottom of the mold with the prepared bechamel sauce and lay out the first layer of lavash sheets.
  4. Then, carefully distribute the prepared tomato sauce.
  5. Lay out the next layer of ham pieces.
  6. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  7. Fill the filling with milk sauce and lay out a layer of pita bread.

To ensure that the pita bread is fully cooked during baking, it must be completely covered with Bechamel sauce.

  1. We continue to lay out layers of lasagna in a similar sequence. Lastly, lay out the third sheet of pita bread and grease it with milk sauce.
  2. Place the dish in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  3. After this time, remove the lasagna from the oven, cover the surface with tomato washers and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  4. Cook for about 10 more minutes.

After baking, the dish needs to sit for a while to thicken. Serve in portions.
